Little Critter Sitter is a pet sitting service that comes to your home for a certain period of time, depending on your pet(s) needs. We are an In-Home Pet Care and House Sitting Service, and are not to be confused with a kennel or doggie-day care center. We choose to come to your home because some pets do not socialize or travel well, suffer from anxiety, or just prefer their own home smells and routines - so we come look after pets in their own home environment for their own safety and comfort. It is a pet owner’s personal preference for what suits their pet’s needs. We believe in the best care for your pets in a fun, caring environment where we can give them lots of devoted, individual, and special attention.
The Comox Valley is a wonderful place for critters offering a variety of pet care service for pets of all kinds including doggie daycare, agility, camps, kennels, and pet sitting.
When LCS visits your pet(s) for 30 minutes (we always stay a little longer) we feed, refresh water, and clean litter boxes, walk, play, administer medication, and groom (brush or bathe) your dog(s) or cat(s). A basic house sitting service is available at no cost, in addition to pet care (mail, house plants, opening blinds, and turning lights on or off).
For a longer duration including extended visits due to business or vacation trips we provide a deluxe house sitting service for an additional cost (depending on house needs) which includes bringing in your mail (newspapers), turning lights on and off, opening and closing window blinds (curtains), watering plants and gardens, taking out your trash (recyclables), and security checks.
Key Hold Service for regular clients: For everyone a spare key to your home is retrieved upon 1st consult visit, and used for future visits depending on duration of pet sit and then returned after pet sit is complete. For longer Pet sits and future reservations, at a pet owners request ~ a spare key can be kept safely locked away (no address will be attached with the key). It is also a benefit to you if are locked out of your home - we will have a spare key for you. ***Confidentiality & Safety for your pet(s) & home is of the utmost importance to LCS. When Little Critter Sitter visits, we do not advertise or wear uniforms for your safety so onlookers will not know you are away. Your pets are an extension of Little Critter Sitters Family.
